Must understand the operation of and performs automation system maintenance and repair. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, PLC's, and electrical system. Must ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures mandated by Office of Pipeline Safety and other government regulations, while placing special emphasis on supporting the Company's Core Values. Will be subject to call outs and/or emergency response. Understands the operation of and performs automation system maintenance and repair. Assists with design and installation of projects. Maintains required records and knowledge of DOT regulations and their applicability to the pipeline systems. Drives long distances on an everyday basis and overnight frequently encountering inclement weather and adverse conditions. Must have a safe driving record and current driver's license. This is a safety sensitive position you will be required to pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug test

Compiles, edits and balances monthly volumetric. Transmits volumes to various internal and external sources Troubleshoots measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel, and accounting groups. Sets up new meter stations in measurement calculation system to insure volumes are calculated in accordance to contractual and industry guidelines. Determines the appropriate placement of new and existing meters in physical flow balances. Files documents. Develops a working knowledge and understanding of gas measurement. Resolves measurement and quality exceptions in the exception resolver.

Basic skills in arithmetic, oral and written communications, and computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and on-line based applications. Must have organizational skills and be able to produce, file and store documents both hard copy and electronically. Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds; move items weighing up to 500 pounds with equipment assistance; use various hand tools and hoists; hear; see objects at close range and in the distance; and distinguish colors and relationship between objects. Ability to understand and complete oral and written instructions; communicate effectively orally and in writing and receive and convey information and instructions, is courteous to co-workers and customers and follow directions from supervisors.
