Controls Engineer (Whiting, Indiana)

The Control Systems Engineer is a member of the Control Systems Specialist Team, within the Process Automation Group. The CSE main responsibility is to ensure the availability, reliability, and sustainability of distributed and associated control systems equipment infrastructure within the Whiting Refinery. The Control Systems Engineer is a primary resource for Whiting Refinery control systems technical support, such as all related hardware and configuration to assure 24/7 availability.

Education
- Minimum ASEET in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), BSEET in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) is desirable.
- 5 years’ experience will be considered.

Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in supporting process related control systems in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of windows-based systems (DeltaV, Honeywell, etc…) and networks with its associated switches, routers, and firewall is desirable.
- MCSE is desirable

Physical Demands
- Able to lift and carry/transport equipment weighing up to 50lbs with assistance of another team member such as older model monitors, system batteries, etc. Able to use test equipment, hand tools, and portable power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, etc.
