Scope: The data engineer or analyst provides in-depth data analytics development and support for the Technical Support Services (TSS) Activity implemented by the regional mission. S/he is versed in PEPFAR and Regional Government's health indicator definitions and data collection systems. The data analyst utilizes this knowledge to work with the USAID Health Office and its implementing partners to demonstrate results through the retrial, data quality assessment, and analysis of key data, as well as providing assistance to other regional mission projects on request. S/he is expected to contribute to the design and development of improved data management systems, and administers the Tableau data analysis and visualization service. This role also facilitates technical links between the USAID office and the regional mission's activities through the informing of staff and consultants of broader issues relevant to strategic information (SI).
