BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY Our ServiceNow administrator/developer will play a vital role in the development, maintenance, administration and configuration of our ServiceNow platform. As our company transitions into a dedicated instance in Q1 2019, this administrator will be considered a leader within this space, empowered to make decisions, innovate, problem solve, deliver solutions, and provide highly valued input into our ServiceNow roadmap. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with ITSM processes, ServiceNow administration, and ServiceNow integration development. Candidates with applicable experience in application administration should also apply. In addition to knowledgeable technical skills, strong communication is a must as they will be working closely with key stakeholders, partners, analysts, 3rd party vendors and other developers to gather requirements and transform them into cutting edge solutions. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree is desired. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. EXPERIENCE • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred) • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (strongly desired) • ServiceNow Certified System Orchestration (preferred) • ITIL v3 Foundations Certification (preferred) • A minimum of 2-4 years' relevant work experience with ServiceNow is required • A minimum of 2 years ITSM development • Experience with JavaScript, Angular JS, GLIDE, HTML5 • Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes and Glide API • Experience integrating ServiceNow through SOAP or REST web services JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Implements new ServiceNow modules and integrations based on company needs • Consults and Integrates ServiceNow applications with 3rd party partners • Performs system and integration testing • Authors and maintains technical documentation • Development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap • Analyzes and prioritizes user requirements in order to improve system capabilities, • Automate process workflows throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap • Continuous review of new ServiceNow modules, as well as other commercially available software to ensure the ServiceNow platform and tools remain current • Responsible for the creation and documentation of development, unit test cases and build plans. • Actively participate in regular scrum and requirement grooming sessions • Identify open issues and risks and determine action/mitigation plans • May be called upon to improve system and application performance metrics • Work with remote team members • Coach and mentor junior staff members OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Solutions oriented; learns quickly, understands complex problems, and applies useful solutions • Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills • Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills • Self-starter with the ability to work without daily supervision • Skilled in multitasking • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines • Able to effectively communicate workload, risks and priorities to others • Experience delivering business solutions leveraging agile methodologies • Demonstrates the desire and ability to learn and utilize new technologies
