Senex Energy Limited is an independent Australian oil and gas exploration and production company. We have a 30 year history and diverse portfolio of onshore assets, strategically positioned in Queensland and South Australia. Senex operates in two of Australia’s most prolific onshore energy regions, the Surat Basin and the Cooper Basin.
In South Australia’s Cooper Basin, Senex operates the majority of its low cost oil producing assets, and is pursuing exploration, appraisal and development of its oil and gas acreage.
In Queensland’s Surat Basin, the company is progressing new gas projects and contributing to energy security on Australia’s east coast. This includes its 100% owned and operated Western Surat Gas Project north of Roma and Project Atlas, near Wandoan and Miles. Project Atlas involves acreage awarded to Senex by the Queensland Government in September 2017 and is the State’s first domestic gas acreage tender.
