Job Description
Maintain tax fixed assets in SAP/ SAP Hanna to properly reflect Federal tax depreciation based on the current tax laws as well as selected state depreciation.
Compilation of proforma returns for Marathon Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries, both 1120s and 1065s, using CorpTax compliance software.
Work with Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting to prepare the quarterly tax provision.
Support special requests for business development, audits, and legislation.
Researches tax issues.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment.
Interface with Accounting Organization to obtain needed financial data and information.
