Field Specialist I

Perform pipeline operations and maintenance activities on pipeline systems including compressor stations, gas storages, dehydration facilities, pumping facilities, measurement facilities, and related equipment which may include, but is not limited to start up and shutdown, pigging, collecting liquids, changing charts, gauging tanks, locating and marking lines, blowing drips, etc. Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities Monitor usage and/or replace lubricants, fluids, inhibitors, chemicals, etc., as needed to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Exchange information regarding pipeline operations, maintenance, measurement, and other activities with public/governmental officials, employees, contractors, customers, producers, and land owners. Ability to read and utilize drawings, schematics, alignment sheets. Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, (OSHA, DOT, etc) document required regulatory activities. On-call responsibility for areas of responsibility as needed. Respond to pipeline emergencies; perform cleanup associated with field ops and corrosion control activities. Other duties as assigned
