Production Development Geologist (f/m), Hannover (Permanent) Vermilion Energy is an established operator in conventional oil and gas exploration and production in Lower Saxony. Your Job Responsibilities Deliver high quality subsurface geological evaluations through subsurface data integration and analysis in order to generate workover, drilling and other field re-development opportunities seeking to maximize the value of the producing assets Develop comprehensive knowledge of relevant German production licenses to identify new opportunities, define asset maturation plans and long range field development plans High grade the producing assets opportunity portfolio, incorporating uncertainties and risk assessments Assess near field exploration opportunities Review joint venture technical evaluations regarding drilling locations and development plans Drive the maturation of drilling proposals, including documentation, monitoring of operations, analysis of results and lookbacks Your Profile Geoscience graduate, preferably with a Masters and high technical proficiency in Geology with 10+ years industry experience Strong background in field development and production geology, particularly in mature fields having identified workover, drilling and other field re-development opportunities International experience would be preferred, with experience of German basins a plus High level of proficiency and experience with industry standard software applications such as Kingdom, REP, Petrel, Petrosys A strong team player, a good communicator who is self-confident and has the ability to take the initiative and show a creative approach Our Offer Permanent full time position at one of the best employer with a high degree of self-determination Performance-based pay, Vermilion Wellness Package and Pension Plan Numerous development and training possibilities This role provides an excellent opportunity to join a growing team within an exciting and growth focused company.
