The Role

Reporting to the Field Manager West, Asset Services, this site based role delivers HSE support and direction to our Integrated Gas operations for the Reedy Creek asset within APLNG’ upstream operations. The role will also conduct and assist with audits, investigations and observations relating to these activities. Stakeholders include our contract partners, senior operational line management, external authority groups and government agencies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop, implement and audit HSE plans & procedures
• Monitor and report on all aspects of HSE performance
• Respond to, investigate and report on HSE incidents and undertake environmental sampling when required
• Coordinate Emergency Response drills / exercises
• Provide HSE support to Operating Company Representatives

Is This You?

You’ll need to be able to contribute across a variety of HSE activities with strong attention to detail, ability to influence, achieve outcomes and work as a productive member of an existing team. You will have Oil and Gas experience and / or Drilling & Completions experience, degree or diploma in occupational, Health and Safety, Environmental Science or Engineering.

You will also demonstrate:

• Knowledge of QLD Health, Safety and Environmental legislation applicable to Oil & Gas exploration & production.
• Previous experience supporting a business unit, group or stakeholders in a similar HSE capacity
• Conducting investigations using methodology tools such as ICAM or TapRoot
• Delivering presentations, toolbox talks or rig start-ups delivering HSE related information
