Job DescriptionBuilding a world class competence within Equinor’s offshore structures expertise to provide significant business-impact support for future offshore wind growth An ability to apply optimal application of technology and lessons learned on a continuous basis (lean mentality) Contribute to a cost-effective design with regards to Wind Turbine Tower and substructure design, fabrication and installation Provide technical support to early-phase offshore wind projects and operations on all aspects of offshore structures Coordination with Equinor’s R&D environment for technology development related to offshore structures Participate and represent Equinor in industry projects Equinor representation on relevant conferences and industry fora Periodic technology watch and market assessment of relevant suppliers or concepts related to offshore structures QualificationsPrevious experience in structural engineering with focus on offshore structures Good knowledge in design of offshore specific structures including load application, foundation variants and soil-interaction Good knowledge in design of steel structures and welded/bolted connections including strength, stability and fatigue calculation Good knowledge of structural design for offshore structures in load out, transport-, installation- and operational phase Good knowledge of corrosion protection, and how this impacts design decision and design life Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications 7-10 years of relevant experience preferred Personal QualitiesStrong oral and written communication skills (with excellent command of English) Good interpersonal skills - team work oriented across disciplines and organisational boundaries Ability to be hands-on and perform high quality work within tight deadlines Identifying and managing internal and external stakeholders Continuously develop sound expertise, demonstrate commercial awareness Ability to live by our safety and security expectations.
