Development and Production International (DPI) is responsible for Equinor’s portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments in all countries outside Norway and Brazil. DPI's intent is to build and grow a competitive international portfolio - always safe, high value and low carbon. DPI’s operates across six continents and implements rigorous safety standards, technological innovations and environmental awareness. We have offices in Houston, TX, Austin, TX, Williston, ND, Stamford, CT, Washington D.C., as well as in Mexico City. Job DescriptionThis role is for an 8 days on shift and 6 days off rotation
Gauge tanks, read meters and record data.
Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and do minor repairs.
Perform basic maintenance work on surface equipment.
Monitor chemical and freshwater usage
Adhere to all Equinor environmental and safety policies.
Communicate with production foreman and other lease operators/techs on a daily basis.
Keep company vehicle maintained and in good working condition.
Coordinate oil sales and salt water hauling.
Maintain gauge sheets properly and note reasons for production changes.
Ability to diagnose well problems and Identify downhole failures
Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate good decision making skills.

QualificationsHigh school or secondary education
1+ years experience in production operations.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Industry and Best-Practices as applicable.
Demonstrated propensity for identifying and acting on opportunities for innovation and creativity.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with manual dexterity to lift, bend and jump. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
The employee may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
The noise level is usually loud.
Twenty-four hour on-call responsibilities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate with all levels. Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.

Developed knowledge of risk management and safety requirements affecting oil and gas production. Must be detail oriented. Strong mechanical aptitude.
Team building skills; organizational and staff development skills. Knowledge of budgeting and expense control.
High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
Computer skills; spreadsheet software capabilities.
Ability to travel to various work site locations, meetings and training seminars.
