Job DescriptionThis position will be part of the Services & Logistics team offshore. It is the 5th week cover for both the Site Lifting Competent Person and the Material Coordinator position. Responsibilities: Oversight of platform lifting operations Ensuring routine maintenance, daily & weekly checks are performed and recorded according to legislative and company requirements Direction and execution of Maintenance and Inspection >1M for Pedestal Cranes as defined by the SAP maintenance system, national regulations and company requirements Site responsible person for sub-contracted crane and lift personnel mobilised for execution of significant maintenance tasks Maintaining an overview of Lifting equipment maintenance and inspection across the installation, including monitoring function on behalf of Structural Crane & Lift Technical Authority (Technical System Responsible) Overall responsible for management and control of the Rigging Lofts in operational areas (excluding drilling and construction) Authoriser of all lift plans for all lift categories on the installation Lead and participate in task risk assessments as required Ensuring minimum competence requirements are met for lifting operations on the installation Providing technical advice for personnel relating to lifting operations Operate crane if required Perform Emergency Response duties as agreed Perform other task and support Service and Logistics Team as required SLCP also has responsibilities regarding the use of specific lifting equipment / machinery: Monitor safety of all working practices relating to equipment operations Ensure equipment is only operated by authorised personnel qualified in their use Maintain records of training and assessment for all authorised MEWP operators Ensure that a task risk assessment is carried out and that all personnel involved with equipment activities are informed and aware, of the hazards, controls and responsibilities Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections in accordance with legislative, manufacturer/suppliers requirements All lifting equipment and machinery must be thoroughly examined according to the asset schedule Maintain records of all pre-use, daily/weekly, maintenance and inspection records Perform duties as the Material Coordinator: Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and Company requirements Materials focal point for all Mariner A personnel Responsible for control of materials related to air and sea logistics for Mariner A, inclusive of Dangerous Goods and Waste/Environmental transactional paper work Communication with vessel master when vessel next to Mariner A Ensure materials transparency in Wells Issue return manifest to vessel in SAP and Wells Receipt of and Issue of materials in SAP Maintain, follow up and stock control for offshore stores in SAP, including requisitioning Follow up and maintain offshore operations stores Responsible for housekeeping and tidiness of stores and lay down areas Maintain and follow up in relation to various registers and equipment Assist in the development and improvement standardised processes to control the movement of materials at every stage in the supply chain, i.e. track and trace Work with the Logistics team on a daily basis to ensure materials are consolidated efficiently for backload Take responsibility for improving the control of inventory offshore by working with offshore stakeholders to develop a culture of care for materials offshore Perform emergency response duties as requested Provide support to the Services and Logistics team as requested QualificationsOPITO LOLER Competent Person Stage 3 Crane Operator COMPEX Electrical Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications Personal QualitiesHigh focus on HSE Be truthful and act with integrity Forward looking, imaginative, curious and open to change through innovation, digitalisation and use of Lean principles Communicate in a precise way, give and accept constructive feedback Systematic, structured, open and strong collaboration skills Respect the individual, help others to succeed and contribute to a positive working environment Continuously develop sound expertise, demonstrate commercial awareness and customer orientation Show dedication and endurance, follow through and pay attention to important details Ability to live by our safety and security expectations We OfferWe offer competitive salaries, a general bonus scheme, good pension and insurance schemes and a comprehensive welfare package.
