Job DescriptionDeliver state-of-the-art well log interpretations and petrophysical models, utilizing the full range of relevant data available (incl borehole image logs, core measurements/descriptions), dynamic input. Establish reservoir modelling strategies together with co-workers and ensure that reservoir models capture essential reservoir quality heterogeneities and trends. Contribute to well planning, monitor data acquisition and contribute to safe and efficient operations. Perform QC of acquired data. Work together with Equinor petrophysical and geological experts to develop workflows and methodologies for characterization of pre-salt reservoirs. Act as focal point for pre-salt petrophysics in Equinor Brazil with the responsibility of ensuring transfer of know-how and experience between relevant business units. QualificationsDeep experience with petrophysical analysis and characterization of carbonate reservoirs. Pre-salt carbonate reservoir experience preferred. Interpretation of borehole image logs. Background from and interest in working across discipline boundaries to ensure proper integration of data and interpretations. Proficiency with petrophysical applications as Geolog and / or Techlog Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications. More than 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
