Development and Production International (DPI) is responsible for Equinor’s portfolio of producing assets and planned field developments in all countries outside Norway and Brazil. DPI's intent is to build and grow a competitive international portfolio - always safe, high value and low carbon. Mariner is part of Equinor’s broad range of activities in the UK.  We also operate offshore wind farms which provide power to around 650,000 homes and we supply around 20% of the UK’s natural gas.
The Mariner Field is one of the largest capital commitments to the UK Continental Shelf in more than a decade and one of Equinor’s most innovative developments.  Mariner is operated from Aberdeen, the headquarters of UK and Ireland Offshore (UKI). Production is expected to commence in first half of 2019.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Oversight of platform lifting operations
Ensuring routine maintenance, daily & weekly checks are performed and recorded according to UK legislative and Company requirements
Direction and execution of Maintenance and Inspection >1M for Pedestal Cranes as defined by the SAP maintenance system, national regulations and company requirements
Site responsible person for sub-contracted crane and lift personnel mobilised for execution of significant maintenance tasks
Maintaining an overview of Lifting equipment maintenance and inspection across the installation, including monitoring function on behalf of Structural Crane & Lift Technical Authority (Technical System Responsible)
Overall responsible for management and control of the Rigging Lifts in operational areas (excluding drilling and construction)
Authoriser of all lift plans for all lift categories on the installation
Lead and participate in task risk assessments as required
Ensuring minimum competence requirements are met for lifting operations on the installation
Providing technical advice for personnel relating to lifting operations
Operate crane if required
Perform Emergency Response duties as agreed
Perform other task and support Service and Logistics Team as required
SLCP also has responsibilities regarding the use of specific lifting equipment / machinery
Monitor safety of all working practices relating to equipment operations
Ensure equipment is only operated by authorised personnel qualified in their use
Maintain records of training and assessment for all authorised MEWP operators
Ensure that a task risk assessment is carried out and that all personnel involved with equipment activities are informed and aware, of the hazards, controls and responsibilities
Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections in accordance with legislative, manufacturer/suppliers requirements
All lifting equipment and machinery must be thoroughly examined according to the asset schedule
Maintain records of all pre-use, daily/weekly, maintenance and inspection records
