Functions and Responsibilities Processes payments/expense reports for all REPSOL US companies. Processes trading invoices daily and payroll bi-monthly. Analyzes data to ensure accurate entry (vendor name, address information, invoice amounts and dates). Scan and email invoices to Treasury for payment. Print/Send payment notices to vendors and internal customers. Reviews the aging report monthly. Reconciles accounts as assigned. Prepares 1099’s at year end. Researches and addresses internal and external customer inquiries. Performs clerical duties including email management, scanning and filing. Acts as backup for other department members when they are off. Ensures all payments are made in accordance with company policy. Project work as needed. Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer Minimum 2 year associate degree preferred but not required. Two or more years of accounts payable and data entry experience. Experience working with or quickly adapting to multiple software applications. Strong computer literacy skills with the Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of A/P internal controls and processes. Past experience working in a high volume A/P environment a plus. Experience in 1099 processing a plus. Oil & Gas Industry experience a plus. Competencies and Skills Ability to communicate well and establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to research and prepare analysis to respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task several assignments simultaneously and establish job priorities. Initiative to consistently meet internal and external deadlines. Team player and openly collaborative.
