Bridgeport Energy is an Australian oil and gas company, with interests in production, development and exploration. We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Senior Drilling & Completions Engineer.

Based in our Corporate Office in North Sydney, you will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for:

  • Daily reporting of drilling and workover rig activities, checking reports for accuracy and content;
  • Undertake commercial and technical analysis of drilling, completions and workover third party related services;
  • Prepare drilling, workover and completion programmes and AFE’s for Executive signoff;
  • Work with the Operations Manager to deliver best practice, innovative drilling, completions and workover operations with minimal unplanned downtime; and
  • Prepare annual budgets and KPI’s for drilling, completions and workover operations.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Must have CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) and preferably current RPEQ certification; and
  • Strong Excel skills and demonstrated experience using industry standard software for directional, hydraulic and engineering design.
