SENIOR ENGINEER LOSS PREVENTION (IRC209153)
We are currently recruiting a Senior Engineer Loss Prevention for our Basingstoke office to provide support to the HSEQ department.
The Key responsibilities are:
Chair Technical Safety Reviews such as HAZID; HAZOP and SIL
Provide support/mentorship to other Technical Safety engineers
Give guidance to other disciplines e.g. mechanical, process, and construction on Technical Safety and Loss Prevention issues
To be a strong interface between the company and all important focal points

Skills:
Must have specific experience in Risk Identification and Assessment.
Able to work well both on own initiative and as part of a team
Resilience
Adaptability and motivation
Requirements:
Educated to Degree level, ideally in a relevant subject – for example Chemical Engineering
Chartered Engineer/IChemE registered Process Safety Practitioner or equivalent
Demonstrable experience of Technical Safety/Loss Prevention within relevant industries (e.g. oil and gas, petrochemicals, etc.)

Our projects can include either design direct execution activities or oversight/supervision of engineering contractor activities.
The projects can run from concept opportunity through basic/FEED stages to detailed engineering/EPC.
The projects can be relevant to offshore/onshore oil/gas production facilities, LNG and renewables production facilities.
