We are currently recruiting a Senior Technical Safety Engineer for our activities in Kazakhstan to provide a technical engineering service to the project development process in Karachaganak. Investigate technical safety issues during the engineering execution process. Provide technical support to changes and additions to the existing system process.

The Key responsibilities are:
Provide technical engineering services; feed and detailed engineering;
Development of projects scope of work, specifications, bid evaluation and ensure they comply with KPO codes and standards, co-ordinate, with other disciplines to comply with project requirements.
Interface with design contractor to review, validate and accept technical safety engineering work and deliverables.
Liaise and attend meetings with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, third parties, vendors, etc.
Ensure the timely closure of recommendations accepted during project risk assessment.
Promote understanding and application of risk management and management of change.

Skills
Necessary knowledge of:
RoK and international codes, regulations and standards;
Good knowledge of onshore oil and gas upstream facilities design and operation;
Process safety engineering principles for chemical process facilities;
Engineering practice for project concept selection, feed study, detailed design, and follow-on engineering and close-out etc

Requirements
Higher education (university degree or higher) in the relevant specialty.
Extensive experience in the position technical safety engineer.
