: WELL AREA OPERATIONSOverseas | Expert | Rotational FIELD DRILLING COORDINATOR (IRC209709) We are currently recruiting a Field Drilling Coordinator both onshore and offshore in Egypt to co-ordinate well engineering activities including drilling, fluids, completion/work-over, well testing and wireline/rigless. The Key responsibilities are:

  • Overall technical integrity  of drilling and completion design and compliance with project well performance objectives
  • well design and operational sequence optimization
  • To prepare engineering programs covering all well activities (drilling, completion/work-over, well testing and wireline/rigless)
  • Support the manager to prepare the well Operations budget
  • Liaising with Exploration, Reservoir, Petroleum engineer and Production departments in order to define the suitable well design, operational sequence and cost reduction
  • Carrying out proper evaluations, studies and reports on any aspects of well operations, with recommendations of new techniques required
  • Preparing accurate cost breakdown estimates for wells to be drilled and/or worked over
  • Ensuring that activities carried out by contractors meet contractual terms, budgeted costs and are conducted in accordance with good engineering practice
  • Coordinating the activities of drilling engineers, completion engineers and drilling/completion fluid engineers in preparations of relevant engineering programs.
  • Well operations close follow-up and make recommendations when engineering problem occur
  • Ensuring the application of new technologies

 Employment contractFixed term, International rotational 28/28 Skills

  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • Intermediate knowledge of the local language is preferred.

 Requirements

  • Engineering degree
  • Extensive experience in the Oil and gas industry.
