Environmental Coordinator   Based in the Calgary office, this position will report directly to the HSE Manager, Canada Business Unit (CBU).  The position will be responsible for environmental advisory for the CBU Operations, including Drilling and Completions, Facilities Engineering (Construction) and Production Operations.  This position will include oversight, project management and administration of the Canadian environmental (assessment, remediation, reclamation) portfolio, liability management, coordinating responses to provincial and federal regulatory programs (e.g. waste, emissions, etc.), coordination of spill response activities and the design, implementation and administration of environmental and sustainability programs for Vermilion’s Canadian Business Unit.  The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and support to field and operations teams and will also work closely with the Canada Business Unit field leadership team, to ensure top tier HSE and regulatory compliance and stewardship continues to be achieved. Permitting Engineer Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands Responsible for the technical content and coordination of preparation for all permitting activities within the business unit, ensuring that all permits are prepared and submitted in time to execute the planned activities for both brownfield and greenfield projects, and are maintained to ensure production operations remain in compliance with applicable legislation.  This position will report to the Commercial Manager, Netherlands Business Unit Key Responsibilities Winningsplans Compiling technical information from asset teams into Winningsplan (WIPLA) submissions Coordinating the schedule of inputs to maintain timely submission of WIPLA’s to remain in compliance and/or enable our development plans Developing an overview of WIPLA submissions that will be updated on an annual basis and tracks field behaviour (production, reserves, seismicity, subsidence, and future development/exploration activity) against assumptions contained in original submissions Supporting the permitting and PGR team with respect to understanding/communicating technical information contained in the WIPLA’s Providing a feedback loop to the technical teams when required to improve alignment with the regulators on approach to uncertainty and .assumptions in WIPLA documentation. Lead Field Operators   Vermilion is currently looking for multiple Lead Field Operators.  Based in SE Saskatchewan and reporting to the Area Foreman, the Lead Field Operator (LFO) will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to field operations staff. Ensure the safe and competent operation of all wells associated with these facilities, and efficient operating practices relative to EH&S. Successful candidates will need to reside within 120 km of the Estevan area. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership to field operators on Run #1 and Run #2 on a daily basis with the intent of meeting goals, objectives and commitments in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner. Monitor the field operations team’s work progress and performance and communicate status to AF. Direct & Mentor Operational staff with respect to routine inspection, adjustment and optimization of all facilities and wells. Oversee operating parameters and production volumes from all facilities and wells and insure adequate and accurate entry into Prod view. Direct the operation staff to adjust the flow or appropriate facilities and wells to prevent production interruption. Coordinate facility and well optimization programs with AF & Engineering. Participate in preparation of operating budgets. Take part in monitoring and safely optimizing / minimizing operating and maintenance expenses and compare estimates and AFE’S through monthly accruals. Assist operational staff to start all wells after workovers or stimulations and provide initial production targets. Support AF with preparation of the district weekly production variance report including +/- 10 boed/well variances. Work a 5 & 2 schedule with a rotating on call supervisor schedule for weekend coverage. When District gets big enough for 2 LFO, this would switch to a 9&5 schedule to allow 100% coverage. Assist in field coverage for vacation/sick days. Take on a leadership role in respect to HSE and the promotion of Vermilion’s culture. Support other work groups when required. Production Engineer – SE Saskatchewan   Vermilion has an excellent opportunity for a Production Engineer.  Based in Calgary, this position will report to the Team Lead, Alameda, CBU.  This position is a key member of the team and will be responsible for maximizing production and cash flow from all wells and waterflood projects in the assigned areas. Other responsibilities include managing routine well servicing, identifying and implementing operating cost reduction ideas, and designing artificial lift equipment. Detailed analysis of leases, farm out agreements, title opinions, operating agreements and other contracts and legal documents to determine the division of interests. Prepare the  ownership spreadsheets and set up the master ownership decks for use in the revenue accounting system. Analyze and interpret title documents affecting the ownership of mineral and leasehold rights, i.e., assignments, deeds, probates and trusts.  Determine ownership through laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession when appropriate. Obtain and interpret curative material as needed for resolving title defects and other title issues. Resolve working and royalty interest owner division of interest and/or payment problems. Tracking to pay and/or suspense owners as appropriate. Insure timely payment of royalties in compliance with state statutes to avoid punitive interest penalties. Verify ownership and respond to interest owners inquiries. Create and mail Division Order/Transfer Orders to owners. Essential Experience & Skills Minimum of 8 years’ experience in division order work. Possesses strong technical knowledge and analytical expertise. Possesses competency in computer input of JIB/Revenue decks.  Bolo Land System a plus. Proficient in the use of spreadsheets for well ownership set up. Strong interpersonal and communications skill.
