Skills & Experience:
We are looking for experienced analysts, so you are probably in a similar role currently and will be at a level where you can work autonomously with minimal guidance or direction. You will have had exposure to the Oil and Gas sector for a considerable part of your career, with recent exposure being highly desirable.
You will have an in depth understanding of valuation methodologies and value drivers, including discounted cashflows, risk analysis and corporate financial analysis in addition to knowledge of multiple oil and gas fiscal regimes.
You will understand the importance of getting it right, with a track record of providing high quality, accurate and robust analysis for decision making purposes, with the experience to advise the level of detail that is fit-for-purpose for the decision at hand.
Your experience developing concise and informative board and executive level communication will demonstrate your ability to ensure valuation analysis effectively guides the decision.

About the Role:
We are looking for future leaders at Analyst or Senior Analyst level to join our high-performing team.
Analysts are at the heart of our Commercial function. Our Analysts work closely with project teams to frame investment decisions, source information from technical experts and provide the business with insightful analysis to support a range of business decisions.
These positions are offered on a permanent, full time basis, based in our Perth offices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will provide you with the opportunity to undertake detailed analysis across our base business as well as growth projects. Applying your analytical and problem solving skills you will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our projects and support the business deliver its strategy. You will get exposure to the full lifecycle of project developments where your regular responsibilities will include:
Guiding opportunity framing for new investment decisions
Designing and developing economic models (primarily using Microsoft Excel) to support the analysis
Preparing and/or assuring valuation analysis of a variety of major investment decisions and / or to support commercial negotiations
Identifying and clearly communicating valuation insights which add value and inform the direction of the business
Working with multidisciplinary teams and managing diverse stakeholders
Supporting functional excellence initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of valuation analysis
