Land Access Field Coordinator Department: Queensland Assets Location: Surat Basin Reporting to Title: Land Manager, Queensland Description About the role Senex Energy is seeking a Land Access Field Coordinator to join the Land Access team supporting our Queensland Assets, the Western Surat Gas Project (WSGP) and Project Atlas. The successful candidate will work closely with the Land, Projects and Operations teams and will be responsible for the day to day facilitation of land access activities on the ground within the project areas. This role will often be the first point of contact with Landholders and other external stakeholders. Key responsibilities of the role include: Liaison and support for Landholder engagement activities; Providing input into key internal systems and databases (incl. consultation management and Land Access Activity Requests) and assisting with weekly progress reporting; Input into the development of Landholder specific strategies and agreement execution planning; Maintaining an active presence in the Senex shopfront locations in Roma and Wandoan and assisting with community and stakeholder events, and Planning, coordinating and managing all site activities including preliminary scouting, pegging parties and construction work fronts. About the person You will have at least 5 years’ experience in natural gas Land Access or a related industry, with a thorough understanding of rural enterprises and their operations. You will be proficient in the use of a range of IT systems and databases (X-info experience will be highly regarded), be comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and have strong time management skills as well as attention to detail. Your strong interpersonal skills will ensure that you are able to build rapport and establish relationships quickly. A strong communicator, you will provide updates to the rest of your team regularly and will be confident leading a range of in field briefings and meetings (e.g. kick-off meetings, toolbox discussions) with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable working autonomously as you will be required to spend a significant amount of time working remotely. A current Open Driver’s Licence is a mandatory requirement, and a current 4WD Certification is highly desirable. A current First Aid Certification and a Greening Australia Wash Down Certification are also both highly desirable. Please note this is a field-based role (Surat Basin) with travel to the Brisbane office required occasionally. General Manager Operations - Cooper Basin Department:Cooper BasinLocation:BrisbaneReporting to Title:EGM Operations & Growth Description About the role Reporting to the EGM Operations and Growth, the General Manager Operations – Cooper Basin oversees all Production Operations activities in the Cooper Basin. The role is responsible for overseeing the safe execution of all operational activities in the Cooper Basin, managed to the highest technical and operational standard and with a high level of focus on cost discipline.  The successful candidate will be accountable for the overall performance of fields and the implementation of production optimisations strategies, including technical, commercial and risk management to maximise the value of the company’s Cooper Basin Assets.  This is a key role in the Cooper Basin leadership team and the successful candidate will be expected to deputise for the EGM Operations and Growth from time to time. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Leading by example, championing and achieving safe and healthy work conditions as well as demonstrating environmentally responsible conduct; Management of all field activities to meet production targets, unit operating costs and budgets; Pursuing best-in-class operating performance benchmarks, including full life-cycle cost management (operating and capital), reliability and deferment; Optimisation of production rates through the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities; Monitoring the economic value of the field and understanding the associated commercial implications; Implementing field development and optimisation opportunities and directing the facilities projects team to implement; Oversight of all engineering and construction activities, and Oversight of reporting for presentation to management, internal stakeholders, Joint Venture partners and regulatory bodies. About the person You will have a tertiary engineering qualification (preferably mechanical or process engineering) as well as proven experience in leading and managing oil and gas operations. Junior Operations Analyst (12 Month Contract) Department:Cooper BasinLocation:BrisbaneReporting to Title: Description About the role Senex Energy are seeking a Junior Operations Analyst to join the Cooper Basin Operations team for a 12 month term to assist with managing the profitability of Senex’s operating assets in the Cooper Basin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Analyst to assist with cost reporting for production assets (incl. analysis, allocation, budgeting and forecasting); capital cost reporting for projects and operations; data collection and analysis studies; and supporting the implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of Senex’s new Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) System, Pronto. The role will provide support to the Operations team, Drilling & Completions team, as well as project engineering. Key responsibilities will include assisting with: Monthly accruals processes for operating costs Monthly cost reporting processes Forecasting and annual budget preparation processes Supporting the procure to pay process including raising purchase orders, invoice receipting, following up outstanding invoices Licence and permit reporting for compliance About the person You will have a Bachelor of Accounting or a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting coupled with a minimum of 12 months’ work experience. Candidates with management accounting experience within an operations or finance department will be highly regarded, as will experience working in the resources (preferably oil & gas) sector. You will pride yourself on your attention to detail and will have strong analytical skills which will be evidenced by your ability to retrieve, summarise, organise and filter large amounts of data. Your MS Office (incl. word, powerpoint & excel) skills will be of an intermediate level, with a strength in using excel. In particular, you’ll be competent using large excel models for budget management, forecasting and reporting. You will have experience working in a team environment but will also be comfortable working autonomously when required. Production Engineering Team Lead Department:Production EngineeringLocation:BrisbaneReporting to Title: Description About the role Senex Energy is seeking a Production Engineering Team Lead to join our Operations & Growth team, providing Production Engineering support across both our Cooper Basin and Queensland assets. The successful candidate will lead a team of production engineers and be responsible for developing and maintaining production plans, utilising technology to optimise production and ultimately for successfully delivering upon the annual corporate production targets. Other key responsibilities include: Managing the development of annual work programs and budgets for production operations activities; Developing production forecasts for producing fields and exploration success, which are integrated with the company’s work program; Monitoring production and operational activities to recognise any impediments to production targets and developing contingency/opportunity plans to ensure Senex achieves its targets; Post-drill production engineering design and planning for new production wells; Supporting Senex’s exploration, development and subsurface teams to optimize Field Development Plans and reserves; Tracking and ensuring that all wells are tested on a regular basis to meet regulatory requirements and good reservoir and production management; Managing the development and maintenance of procedures and standards for production optimisation, surveillance, conceptual completion design and artificial lift equipment, and new technology introduction; Manage the company’s hydrocarbon accounting system to ensure production data is accurately recorded and reported; and Managing the development of whole of life operational plans for assets, including production forecasts, activity plans and cost forecasts.   About the person You will have at least 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with strong CSG and conventional oil and gas experience, particularly with latest technology developments and practices in the area of CSG. Your experience will be underpinned by a relevant tertiary qualification (preferably Petroleum Engineering) and you will have significant demonstrable knowledge and experience in onshore oil and gas reservoir, production and operational management. Strong knowledge of well completion design, artificial lift, surface facilities design and construction, as well as production data management and optimisation practices are essential. A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be confident quickly building relationships across the business. Your written and verbal presentation skills, coupled with strong analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure that you have a strong track record of delivering positive outcomes for the business.
