Develops and manages integrity and inspection programs for the corporation and assets, associated with tanks and associated appurtenances at truck terminals, rail terminals, asphalt terminals, pump stations, marine terminals, docks and causeways.
Maintains inspection programs and procedures. Implements, monitors and reports on the integrity and inspection programs. Develops and maintains metrics and key performance indicators relative to tank integrity, repairs, and inspection programs. Maintains trends to assist in predicting and planning repairs, replacements and defining inspection frequencies.
Participates in engineering reviews, field troubleshooting, project support, inspection reviews, audits, and ensures inspection programs are developed and maintained.
Manages all aspects of integrity projects and field troubleshooting: assessing integrity, defining problems and solutions, assessing inspection data; develops scope, develops repair and replacement plans and provides engineering oversight and guidance for completion and commissioning.
Maintains/updates integrity and inspection data base for each project; facilitates the risk assessment process and fitness for services process. Conducts risk assessments. Integrates historical integrity and inspection data to develop a comprehensive integrity picture of the assets being assessed.
Assures that all documentation is indexed, maintained and readily available via an electronic document management system for facilities, including tanks and associated equipment. Assures that all design and inspection documentation is obtained, indexed and maintained to support the safe and sound operation of facilities relative to the operating parameters.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Regional Tank Program. Duties will include:Provide technical consultation regarding Assessment Criteria, Repair Scope Approval, and Final Engineering Sign-off.
Review and approve welding procedures if required.
Review and approve NDE procedures if required.
Provide technical engineering review and approval when requested.
