Oversees and maintains the onsite Occupational Health Clinic. Administers and maintains the policies, programs, and procedures of the clinic consistent with the company's general policies concerning medical services as defined by Corporate Health Services (CHS). Manages the clinic’s budget and oversees procurement of necessary facility’s equipment and supplies to operate the clinic safely and effectively. Manages and supervises all clinic staff personnel, including nurses, medical assistants, medical technicians, EMTs, paramedics and/or administrative assistants. Mentors all health care professionals and other staff personnel in the delivery of appropriate and professional clinical services. Evaluates and treats injured and ill employees and provides emergency medical management and treatment for all injured workers. Prepares, reviews and negotiates significant contractual arrangements entered into by the Company, including transportation fuel product supply agreements, aviation fuel supply contracts, and other petrochemical supply contracts. Analyzes legal and regulatory issues affecting the Company, including state and federal franchise law (including the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act), competition law, payment card processing and privacy law. Maintain tax fixed assets in SAP/ SAP Hanna to properly reflect Federal tax depreciation based on the current tax laws as well as selected state depreciation. Compilation of proforma returns for Marathon Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries, both 1120s and 1065s, using CorpTax compliance software. Work with Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting to prepare the quarterly tax provision. Support special requests for business development, audits, and legislation. Researches tax issues. Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment. Interface with Accounting Organization to obtain needed financial data and information.

Reviews, drafts and negotiates commercial agreements for the Company’s Midstream Business, including: transportation (pipeline, rail, trucking and marine), terminalling and storage agreements for crude oil, refined products, natural gas, natural gas liquids (“NGL”) and alternative fuels; crude and natural gas gathering and processing agreements; NGL fractionation and purchase agreements; related rail agreements (railcar leases and storage agreements); and other industry-specific agreements. Handles legal and contractual aspects of international logistics operations related to the foregoing, including maritime/admiralty aspects. Assists with, and in some cases, manages M&A, joint venture and other strategic transactions for the Midstream Business, including due diligence, drafting, reviewing and negotiating purchase and sale and joint venture agreements, as well as related transactional documents. Assists and advises the Midstream Business’ business development group in its day-to-day activities, including overall commercial strategy and operational and administrative planning. Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff who support the Company’s business development teams and related transactions. Analyzes legal, regulatory and compliance issues affecting the Company and the Midstream Business, including federal (FERC), state and local tariff related issues, and educates management on areas of risk and possible legal exposure in these areas.
