For more information on Equal Employment Opportunity, please follow these links: EEO is the Law EEO is the Law Supplement Pay Transparency Provision   BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY The Assistant I&E Foreman assists with the coordination and supervision of construction/facilities activities on location,  including  safety and environmental compliance, contractor performance, cost management, and other supervisory activities on construction projects. Assists in the coordination of all new lease road, location, battery, facility, and pipeline construction as well as needed and necessary rework to existing roads, locations, batteries, facilities and pipelines. Aids in pre job planning, supervision, and documentation for personnel safety and construction related operations.   EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalent   EXPERIENCE Requires a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate and promote safe and ethical behavior at all times Understand and apply all Company policies and ensures others comply with these policies. Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected Mentor employees on lease road and location construction methods as well as battery and facility construction methods Work with staff and contractors to troubleshoot areas of concern Approve invoices, submit purchase orders, document daily operations and costs, prepare cost estimates, create and revise location schematics, and create graphs and spreadsheets Maintain regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance in conjunction with and through close coordination with the Operations Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Environmental Health and Safety Department   OTHER REQUIREMENTS Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred Practice safe work habits at all times Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes Basic computer skills Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to work within a team environment Able to identify opportunities for cost reductions, job efficiency, and safety improvements Understanding of economic evaluations and indicators and how they affect projects Able to travel and work extended hours Position requires operation of Company vehicles.
