Mariner is part of Equinor’s broad range of activities in the UK.  We also operate offshore wind farms which provide power to around 650,000 homes and we supply around 20% of the UK’s natural gas.
The Mariner Field is one of the largest capital commitments to the UK Continental Shelf in more than a decade and one of Equinor’s most innovative developments.  Mariner is operated from Aberdeen, the headquarters of UK and Ireland Offshore (UKI). Production is expected to commence in first half of 2019.

Job DescriptionResponsible for performance management and business development of the Logistics team’s services
This is to be done by:
Administrating the logistics performance framework by means of a balanced scorecard, and Lean and Logistics dashboards
Analysing and reporting on performance management across all areas of Logistics, using agreed KPI’s, non-conformities, analysis of results, improvement projects and so on
Main driver for continuous improvement and contribute in the implementation of Lean
Administrating the Logistics assurance program (audits, verifications, self-assessments)
Additional tasks include:
Responsibility for maintaining and training the internal customers of logistics in logistics work processes and management system and planning processes relating to logistics
Facilitating logistics risk management process
Facilitating stakeholder analysis and engagement for the logistics team, internally and externally
Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the framework for supply operations. Including responsibility of ensuring that work processes and governing documentation are aligned both with local regulations and company standards
Support the logistics team with:
Running daily logistics meetings with particular focus on performance, deviations and improvement areas
Holiday cover for key roles such as logistics supply supervisor and drilling supply responsible (drilling material coordinator)
And assisting logistics coordinator and drilling supply responsible (Drilling Material Coordinator) in coordination of logistics needs from offshore installations
Prioritisation, communication, and coordination of Operations, Drilling, and Maintenance and Project requirements and needs
Additional requirements:
Work together with suppliers and contractors
Become an accomplished user of Logistics IT tools to assist when required
Coordinate and provide logistics input to Operational plan, Activity Steering Group plan, pre-ops plan and other specific plans
Be available outside of Office hours to respond to emergencies while on duty
Promote and develop a safety culture within all services and logistic operations
QualificationsApplicant must have background from supply chain management and coordination within an operating and/or service based industry
Applicant must have a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience within supply coordination
Good written and oral skills
Competent IT user
Applicant should have a thorough working knowledge of relevant Regulatory legislation
Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications
